Sixteen years of pure joy. Shelby would turn out to be something of a daddy's girl. I know that many times over the years when I'd tell her to sit, she'd look at Tim as if to say "Do I really need to listen to her dad?" In just a few years Shelby would become a happy, well adjusted dog who learned to love everyone with the one exception of other female aggressive dogs. (But that's a story for another time.)
